The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamfada will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lamfada tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sugar swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lamfada is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lamfada fails with an attempt to clinch.

Lamfada gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sugar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Sugar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lamfada swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lamfada tries to close the distance and clinch but Sugar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Sugar drops back looking for a leg! Lamfada is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lamfada manages to kick Sugar off! Sugar jumps back into Lamfada's guard.

Lamfada looking for a triangle here. Sugar is fighting it but it looks tight! Lamfada pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sugar is tapping out - this one is all over!
