Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, TJ Dillashaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Terror!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dillashaw.
Dillashaw gets a takedown into half guard.
Terror tries to get to full guard but Dillashaw has control of the leg.
Dillashaw passes the guard and advances to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Terror wants to control but Dillashaw is having none of it.
Dillashaw is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Terror to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Terror shrugs it off.

Dillashaw swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Terror is now in Dillashaw's guard. A big mistake from Dillashaw there, giving up the dominant position!
Terror postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dillashaw looking to hit a scissor sweep but Terror is one step ahead there.

Dillashaw is controlling Terror's posture.
Terror wants to control from the top but Dillashaw keeps moving.
Terror trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dillashaw is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Dillashaw kicks Terror off and gets to his feet.
Dillashaw closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Terror looks winded!
Dillashaw is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Dillashaw decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Terror wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Dillashaw manages to pass to side control.

Dillashaw is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dillashaw looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Terror with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dillashaw shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Terror has one foot on Dillashaw's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Dillashaw tries to score a power double leg takedown but Terror sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dillashaw somewhat.
Dillashaw closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Terror quickly recovers to half guard.
Terror is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dillashaw is controlling the pace.

Terror wants to control but Dillashaw is keeping busy and won't allow it.

TJ Dillashaw overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dillashaw shoots in but Terror avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dillashaw fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Terror sprawls well initially but Dillashaw persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Dillashaw is looking to advance position but Terror won't allow it.
Terror wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dillashaw seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Dillashaw seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Dillashaw takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dillashaw wants to work for an arm triangle but Terror is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Terror is trying to get back to full guard.
Dillashaw is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Terror can do to turn this around?
Dillashaw tries to pass to full mount but Terror defends it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Dillashaw perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that TJ Dillashaw will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Dillashaw throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Terror tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dillashaw is in Terror's guard.
Terror wants to sweep but no luck.
Dillashaw is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Dillashaw throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Terror was covering up waiting for the punch and Dillashaw finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Dillashaw is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Dillashaw has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Dillashaw wants to pass the guard but Terror is keeping the position.
Dillashaw seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Dillashaw's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Terror tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Terror looking to score a takedown here. Dillashaw is defending well but Terror drives through and ends up in Dillashaw's guard.
Andy Terror has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
TJ Dillashaw is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
