Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Slammy Neckbreaker (ranked 575 p4p, 35 weight class) and Sergey Objedkov (ranked 379 p4p, 20 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Slammy Neckbreaker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergey Objedkov! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Objedkov moves out of range as Neckbreaker strikes. Objedkov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Objedkov misses with a hook. Objedkov wants to clinch. Objedkov scores with a jab to the jaw. Neckbreaker just misses with a punch to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Objedkov! But no joy. Neckbreaker throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Objedkov counter with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Objedkov moves out of range as Neckbreaker strikes. Objedkov throws a series of strikes that have Neckbreaker backpedaling.
Good shot there by Objedkov. Neckbreaker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Objedkov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Neckbreaker with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Objedkov can't keep his opponent in guard - Neckbreaker advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Objedkov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Neckbreaker missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Objedkov is looking for a sweep. Neckbreaker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Neckbreaker wants to pass the guard but Objedkov is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Objedkov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Neckbreaker is working away from the top position though. Neckbreaker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Neckbreaker is trying to control. Objedkov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Objedkov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Neckbreaker trying to control the position from guard on top but Objedkov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Objedkov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Neckbreaker is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neckbreaker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Neckbreaker pushing down on Objedkov's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Neckbreaker throwing shots but Objedkov is blocking nicely. Neckbreaker lands with a punch from half guard. Objedkov has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Neckbreaker missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Neckbreaker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Objedkov is trying to get back to full guard. Neckbreaker lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Neckbreaker is looking to take a break and control but Objedkov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Neckbreaker in particular looking to stall. Neckbreaker wants to control but Objedkov is keeping him busy. The fighters are battling for position here. Objedkov manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Neckbreaker content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Neckbreaker postures up and lands a big shot to Objedkov's brow. Neckbreaker lands a couple of decent looking shots. Neckbreaker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slammy Neckbreaker dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Objedkov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Objedkov avoids the body shot from Neckbreaker.
Objedkov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Neckbreaker. Neckbreaker circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Objedkov avoids the body shot from Neckbreaker.
Objedkov lands an overhand right. Neckbreaker swings and misses with a shot to the body and Objedkov counters with a nice body shot. Objedkov takes a swing at Neckbreaker's ribcage but misses. Neckbreaker was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Objedkov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Objedkov just misses with a punch to the body.
Neckbreaker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Neckbreaker showed some decent athleticism there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Neckbreaker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Objedkov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Objedkov regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Neckbreaker. Neckbreaker trying to control the position from guard on top but Objedkov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Objedkov keeping full guard, as Neckbreaker tries to pass. Neckbreaker cracks Objedkov with a solid left hand. Neckbreaker wants to pass the guard but Objedkov is keeping the position. Objedkov trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Neckbreaker won't allow Objedkov to sweep him here. Objedkov throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Neckbreaker connects with a couple of short punches. Neckbreaker landing with the ground and pound. Neckbreaker chips away with some ground and pound. Objedkov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Neckbreaker. Objedkov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Objedkov throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Objedkov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Neckbreaker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Neckbreaker trying to control the position from guard on top but Objedkov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Objedkov has his foot on Neckbreaker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Neckbreaker works his way back into a safe position though. Objedkov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Neckbreaker stacks Objedkov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Neckbreaker!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Neckbreaker with the ground and pound but Objedkov regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Neckbreaker is just content to waste time from the top position. Objedkov takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Neckbreaker looking to sit in guard and control but Objedkov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Neckbreaker is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Objedkov rolls with it to try and escape but Neckbreaker cranks on the arm and Objedkov is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
