Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Bower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dorian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bower comes to the cage accompanied by Triple H Theme Song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dave Bower! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Dorian! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bower throws a jab but it's blocked by Dorian. Dorian tries to clinch but Bower is having none of it. Dorian instigates a clinch. Bower wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dorian has him pressed against the cage. Bower wants to break free but Dorian has control.
Bower is looking to break free of the clinch but Dorian has double underhooks. Bower has had enough of the clinch but Dorian keeps him there for the moment. Dorian breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bower tries to clinch up and Dorian counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bower keeps control of Dorian as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Dorian pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bower wants to clinch. Bower dodges the punch combination from Dorian.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dorian moves into the clinch. Bower has had enough of the clinch but Dorian keeps him there for the moment. Dorian escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Dorian dips to his left and cracks Bower with an uppercut!
That's one minute gone in the round. Dorian closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bower is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bower is trying to control but can't.
Dorian working over Bower with some ground and pound. Bower looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bower moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Bower escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dorian gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bower is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dorian seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bower is looking to sinch up a triangle. Dorian throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bower's body to avoid the submission. Bower has instead reached around Dorian's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bower arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Dave Bower!
