Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Mclean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocky Morris!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris shoots for a double leg takedown but Mclean sprawls well. He's pushed Morris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Morris clinches up against the cage.
Morris is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mclean pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Morris keeps control of Mclean as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mclean tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Mclean throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Morris counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Morris.

Morris postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mclean is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Morris, into his guard.

Morris isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mclean stacks Morris on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mclean!
Morris tries to bench press Mclean off him but Mclean keeps the position.

Morris sneaks back into half guard.
Morris is pressing down on Mclean's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Mclean working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Morris's head.

Mclean is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Morris wants to sweep but no luck.
Morris wants to get back to his feet but Mclean is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Morris not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Morris moves into the clinch.
Mclean is working for takedown but Morris is calmly controlling the position for now.

Morris has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mclean avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
