Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam McCullen (ranked 353 p4p, 47 weight class) and Matt Cooke (ranked 416 p4p, 63 weight class). McCullen comes to the cage accompanied by The Foggy Dew. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCullen takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
McCullen throws a looping overhand right but Cooke ducks down to avoid it.
Cooke fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McCullen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sam McCullen.
Well Cooke has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
