Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Denis Jahic (ranked 5332 p4p, 484 weight class) and Tomiichi Kaba (ranked 24835 p4p, 561 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Denis Jahic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tomiichi Kaba! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaba gets a takedown into half guard. Jahic manages to escape and get back to his feet! Kaba throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Jahic drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kaba sprawls and moves away. Kaba misses with a low kick.
Jahic half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Kaba just misses with a punch to the body.
Jahic tries to counter with a takedown but Kaba is quick to defend against it. Kaba drives through and clinches with Jahic against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jahic blocks an elbow strike from Kaba.
Jahic has hold of one of Kaba's legs. Kaba is fighting the takedown attempt but Jahic gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Jahic preventing the sweep. Kaba working for a triangle but Jahic defends it easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kaba can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jahic drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kaba dives on top into guard. Jahic is adopting a defensive guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jahic working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kaba. Kaba landing some decent shots from guard. Kaba throwing strikes but missing. Kaba throwing strikes from guard but Jahic blocks nicely. Jahic trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaba wants to pass the guard but Jahic is keeping the position. Kaba lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Kaba is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Kaba won't allow Jahic to get back to his feet. Kaba stands up from guard. Let's bang! An inside leg kick from Kaba misses. Jahic half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Kaba lands with a nice body kick. Jahic stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kaba. Kaba just misses with a punch to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaba changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jahic looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kaba looks up at the clock and then as Jahic takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kaba smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kaba takes a little break here. Jahic wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kaba misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Kaba wants to control but Jahic is keeping him busy. Kaba in side control lands a decent elbow. Kaba is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Kaba in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Kaba in side control, throwing shots but Jahic defends. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jahic is trying to control Kaba's posture but Kaba avoids it. Kaba sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jahic is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Tomiichi Kaba dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Kaba bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. A low kick from Kaba misses and Jahic counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jahic. Kaba pushes Jahic off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Kaba goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Kaba misses with the body kick and Jahic decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kaba's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jahic won't allow Kaba to sweep him here. Jahic advances to half guard. Kaba is looking for a sweep. Jahic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jahic seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kaba is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
