Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boa Morte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAndre Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Slam. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boa Morte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, DeAndre Tyson! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morte takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Morte has a takedown stuffed. Morte avoids a kick to the body.
Morte shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tyson as he avoids it easily. Tyson closes the distance and clinches. Morte wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boa Morte. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tyson lands an elbow inside that Morte shrugs off. Tyson gets control of Morte's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tyson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Tyson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Tyson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Morte is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tyson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Morte's back instead. Morte trying to control the action but Tyson just sinks the hooks in.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Morte knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Morte for a finish. Morte just trying to survive but Tyson is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Tyson trying to control. Morte is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tyson patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Tyson throwing damaging strikes from the back! Morte could be in trouble here!
Morte looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Tyson working for the choke. Morte holding on to Tyson's left wrist, preventing the choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Will Tyson go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tyson thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Tyson is looking for the choke from the back position but Morte is controlling his hands well. Morte preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Tyson. Morte is breathing heavily. Morte trying to control the hands but Tyson breaks the grip. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tyson is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Morte has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Tyson trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Morte trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DeAndre Tyson dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

It looks like Boa Morte has been cut. DeAndre Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tyson throws a half hearted mid kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tyson looks to land a body kick but Morte moved away. Tyson instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short body shot lands from Tyson as the two fighters clinch.

Tyson takes the fight into the clinch. Tyson lands an elbow inside that Morte shrugs off. Tyson breaks the clinch.

Tyson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Morte wants to control from the top but Tyson keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Tyson keeping moving, preventing Morte from controlling successfully. Morte won't allow Tyson to sweep him here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tyson can do anything to dispel that myth. Morte looking to sit in guard and control but Tyson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Tyson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Morte not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Morte keeping full guard, as Tyson tries to pass.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Tyson closes the distance and clinches. Tyson drags the fight down to the ground.
Tyson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Morte doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Morte manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tyson looking for a guillotine here but Morte defends easily.
Morte controls the pace of the fight for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DeAndre Tyson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Boa Morte's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Tyson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Morte's head backwards. Tyson stuffs the takedown attempt from Morte. Morte gets slowly back to his feet. Tyson takes the fight into the clinch. Tyson lands an elbow that stopped Morte in his tracks for a moment. Tyson wants the takedown. Morte is fighting it off but Tyson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Morte's guard against the cage. Tyson gets to his feet. Morte looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Tyson misses with a kick to the body.
Boa Morte is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tyson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Tyson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tyson explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Tyson forces Morte back against the cage and clinches. Tyson lands an elbow that stopped Morte in his tracks for a moment. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Tyson landing knees to the head.
Tyson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morte moves out of range of the body kick. Tyson rushes Morte and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tyson pressing his opponent against the cage. Tyson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Tyson landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Tyson gets a trip takedown into half guard. Tyson is trying to control. Morte wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Tyson wants to pass the guard but Morte is defending well. Morte wants to control but Tyson is keeping busy.
Tyson with the ground and pound but Morte uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyson wants to pass the guard but Morte is keeping the position. Morte has his hands on Tyson's head, controlling the position. Tyson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morte keeping moving, preventing Tyson from controlling successfully. Morte wants to control the position but Tyson says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Boa Morte has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Morte on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tyson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Morte! Morte tries to hold on but Tyson postures up. Morte is in a horrible position here. Tyson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
DeAndre Tyson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Tyson has control of Morte's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Morte regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tyson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that's the end of the fight! DeAndre Tyson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tyson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
