Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Quintana or perhaps it was just good defense by Tampa which made him look bad.
Tampa looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Tampa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Quintana shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Quintana drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tampa dives on top into guard.
Quintana has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Tampa has passed into side control.
Quintana is trying to control Tampa's posture but Tampa avoids it.
Tampa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Quintana. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Quintana is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Quintana wants to control but Tampa passes into side.

Tampa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Quintana had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tampa is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Quintana Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tampa's back instead.
Quintana working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Tampa is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Quintana has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Tampa taps out!
