Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Iv Karlson (ranked 2799 p4p, 108 weight class) and Piotr Kowalski (ranked 4051 p4p, 159 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magnus Iv Karlson ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Piotr Kowalski! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kowalski tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Karlson defends well and Kowalski ends up having to push Karlson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kowalski shoots and misses and Karlson counters by clinching up. Karlson manages to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Karlson is pulling down on Kowalski's head to control his posture. Kowalski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karlson . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Karlson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Karlson keeping moving, preventing Kowalski from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karlson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Karlson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Kowalski is looking to stand up but Karlson won't let him.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Karlson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Karlson moves into range and clinches up with Kowalski. Kowalski throws a head punch that misses. Kowalski tries to pull guard but Karlson holds him up against the cage and eventually Kowalski drops back down to his feet.
Magnus Iv Karlson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piotr Kowalski. Karlson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kowalski avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Kowalski is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Karlson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kowalski uses from the top position. Karlson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Karlson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kowalski's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Karlson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Karlson distracts Kowalski with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Karlson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Karlson gets to his feet. Kowalski looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Karlson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kowalski napping and manages to drive through into side control! Karlson stands up. Kowalski tries to clinch but Karlson moves out of range. Karlson stuffs the takedown attempt from Kowalski. Kowalski gets slowly back to his feet. Kowalski wants to clinch up but Karlson keeps it at a distance. Kowalski shoots in and drives through. Karlson sprawls well. Kowalski gets caught flat footed, as Karlson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kowalski wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Karlson manages to pass to side control. Kowalski looks winded! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nice strikes from Karlson there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Karlson clinches. Kowalski jumps guard but Karlson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Karlson breaks from the clinch.
Karlson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Kowalski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Karlson moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kowalski gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Karlson wants to finish this one by submission but Kowalski is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Karlson .

Karlson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Kowalski defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Karlson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kowalski knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kowalski for a finish. Oooooh!!! Karlson has knocked Kowalski down with a huge combo! Karlson steps away and waves a wobbly Kowalski back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Kowalski is rocked! Kowalski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Karlson changes levels and lands a brilliant counter slam that knocks Kowalski senseless! The eyes are open but nobody's home! Karlson is victorious and celebrates with his fans in the crowd. Congratulations that man!
