Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Iii Karlson (ranked 4201 p4p, 362 weight class) and Tek Dog (ranked 4929 p4p, 389 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magnus Iii Karlson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tek Dog!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dog tries to land a leg kick but Karlson saw it coming and moves away.

Dog throws a head kick but Karlson moves out of range.

Dog should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dog is trying to push Karlson away but Karlson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Karlson misses with a knee to the head.
Dog drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Karlson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Karlson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Karlson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dog sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Karlson somewhat.

Dog keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Karlson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dog tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Nice takedown defense from Karlson. No joy for Dog on that attempt.
Karlson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dog but Dog pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dog shoots in looking for a takedown. Karlson tries to sprawl out of it but Dog keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Karlson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Magnus Iii Karlson will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Dog tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Karlson or perhaps it was just good defense by Dog, which made it look bad.
Dog goes for a double leg but Karlson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Karlson continues to drive forward.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dog gets to his feet - Karlson follows without any prompting.

Dog shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Karlson pinned against the cage. Karlson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Karlson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Karlson has gone for a leg lock! Dog slips out almost immediately though and dives into Karlson's guard.

Dog has his foot on Karlson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Karlson works his way back into a safe position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

I would just about give that final round to Tek Dog.
