Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Anatpong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chung Woo Lee! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Lee has a takedown stuffed. Lee closes the distance and pushes Anatpong back into the cage. Lee wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Anatpong gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lee.
Anatpong wants to break free but Lee has control.
Lee lands a body punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anatpong is defending well against a takedown attempt. Marcus Anatpong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chung Woo Lee. Lee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Anatpong uses from the top position. Anatpong has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lee is proving hard to escape from. Lee throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Anatpong throws a strike but Lee rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Lee preventing the sweep. Lee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Anatpong works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee prevents Anatpong from getting back to his feet. Anatpong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there. Lee looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lee gets to his feet. Anatpong looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Lee moves into the clinch. Anatpong tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lee just stands there and leans against the cage. Anatpong misses with a punch to the body.
Lee wants the takedown. Anatpong is fighting it off but Lee persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Anatpong's guard against the cage. Lee gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck for Anatpong with that takedown attempt. Anatpong defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lee. Lee misses with a wild combination.
Anatpong shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lee doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Lee clinches up with Anatpong and pushes him back against the cage. Lee has Anatpong pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Anatpong manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Lee decides to pull guard. Anatpong drops back looking for a leg! Lee is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lee manages to kick Anatpong off! Anatpong jumps back into Lee's guard. Anatpong forces his way into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Anatpong pulls his head out easily. Anatpong wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy. Lee is defending against the submission attempts here by Anatpong.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lee is trying to control but Anatpong manages to pass to mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chung Woo Lee dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lee forces Anatpong back against the cage and clinches. Lee pulls guard. Anatpong being controlled here momentarily. Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lee looking to control but Anatpong passes into half guard.
Anatpong moves into full mount! Lee won't be happy about that! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anatpong wants to control the pace but Lee is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee tries to lock up and control but Anatpong gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Anatpong wants to control but Lee has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Anatpong is trying to control the action in half guard but Lee is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Anatpong prevents Lee from improving his position. Lee is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lee is looking to improve his position.
Lee is looking to control Anatpong's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee avoid being mounted? Lee looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Anatpong wants to pass to mount but Lee is defending the position. Lee is looking to escape. Lee moves into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee wants to improve his position but instead Anatpong has moved into half guard.
Anatpong looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Anatpong throwing shots but Lee is blocking nicely. Lee trying to hold on to Anatpong's head to control him but Anatpong postures up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lee clinches up with Anatpong and pushes him back against the cage. Lee fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Lee jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Anatpong walks away with a smile on his face. Lee gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The fight stays on the outside here - Anatpong looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lee changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Anatpong changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Anatpong manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lee steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Anatpong. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Anatpong dodges the punch combination from Lee.
Anatpong seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Anatpong scores with a head kick. Lee tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Chung Woo Lee will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Horrible takedown attempt by Anatpong or perhaps it was just good defense by Lee, which made it look bad. Anatpong blocks the body kick.
Anatpong shoots and misses and Lee holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Lee is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Anatpong pulls him back up using the underhooks. Lee is trying to break the clinch but Anatpong has him pressed against the cage. Lee drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Anatpong pulls guard effortlessly. Chung Woo Lee has got the better of the ground game so far. Lee trying to control but Anatpong is working from the bottom. Lee is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Lee postures up.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anatpong swivels though and keeps the full guard. Anatpong is trying to control the position but Lee postures up. Lee throwing strikes from guard but Anatpong blocks nicely. Lee wants to control from the top but Anatpong keeps moving. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Anatpong is working an open guard so Lee takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Lee shoots in for a takedown but Anatpong shows good takedown defense. Marcus Anatpong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chung Woo Lee. Lee instigates a clinch. Lee is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Anatpong to keep the fight standing. Lee tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Anatpong tries to clinch up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anatpong slaps away a takedown attempt from Lee, before circling back to the center of the mat. Anatpong doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.

Lee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Anatpong tries to throw a body punch but Lee avoids it by throwing Anatpong back against the cage. Lee wants a takedown but no success here.
Anatpong tries to score a body lock takedown but Lee shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Lee goes for a takedown attempt but Anatpong pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Anatpong dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Anatpong's head and hops out. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Anatpong, which made it look bad. Anatpong doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.
Anatpong shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side. Lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Anatpong. Nice takedown defense from Lee. No joy for Anatpong on that attempt. Lee wants to counter with a clinch but Anatpong pushes him away. A head kick misses from Lee. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lee takes the fight into the clinch. Anatpong is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Chung Woo Lee. Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
