Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Juanito Cortez (ranked 1478 p4p, 30 weight class) and Chuck Lee (ranked 6901 p4p, 94 weight class). Cortez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, $$$. Lee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Titties and Coke "subliminal messages". These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lee.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Cortez pushes him off.
Lee wants to clinch.
Lee is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Cortez moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Lee's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cortez under the eye.
Cortez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Cortez is looking to slow Lee down with leg kicks.
Lee throws a leg kick but Cortez moved away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee tests Cortez's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lee's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cortez connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lee scrambles back to his feet.
Lee on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Cortez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Lee takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Lee is looking to clinch.
Cortez looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Juanito Cortez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Cortez cracks Lee with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Lee is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Lee is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

Lee is rocked!
Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lee is still on wobbly legs! Can Cortez finish him?
Cortez blocks a head kick by Lee.
Cortez closes the distance and catches Lee with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Lee is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Lee is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Lee is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Cortez takes it!
