0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jono Casino! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Betts shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Casino's guard. Betts content to stall in guard here. Betts works over Casino with some ground and pound from guard. Betts showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Betts lands a couple of elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Betts won't allow Casino to get back to his feet. Betts is working Casino over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Betts is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Betts drops back looking for a leg! Casino is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Casino manages to kick Betts off! Betts jumps back into Casino's guard. Betts looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Betts is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Betts lands a couple of elbows. Casino can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Betts controls the pace. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Betts won't allow Casino to get back to his feet. Betts is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Betts lands a couple of elbows.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Betts works over Casino with some ground and pound from guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Betts's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Betts scoring with some ground and pound. Casino can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Betts controls the pace. Casino wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Betts's hips, looking to push off. But Betts grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Casino screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
