Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tripa Seca! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seca tries to clinch up. Seca looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Pancano avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pancano shoots in and bounces Seca off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Seca avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pancano throws and elbow that misses. Seca uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pancano's guard. Nice move by Seca! Pancano manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Seca manages to get himself to full guard.
Pancano has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Pancano postures up in Seca's guard and throws a big left but Seca blocks it. Pancano working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Pancano tries to free his leg and advance position but Seca is retaining full guard. Pancano stands and steps away. Seca gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pancano breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pancano scores with a takedown into Seca's guard. Pancano wanted to stand there but Seca had control of the position. Pancano pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Seca is keeping the position for now. Seca pushes Pancano off and gets back to his feet.

Pancano would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Pancano working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Seca's head. Pancano trying to control but Seca is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Seca wants to stand and escape but Pancano is having none of it.

Pancano missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pancano trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Pancano misses with a two punch combination.
Pancano throws a right and a left that both miss. Pancano has taken the fight to the clinch.
Seca's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Seca wants to clinch and Pancano counters by clinching up. Seca pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pancano lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Tripa Seca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Seca swinging wilding here.
Seca misses with a takedown attempt and Pancano counters with a one-two to the body. Seca is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pancano uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Seca has time to react. Pancano shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Seca wants to get back to his feet but Pancano is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Pancano looking to sit in guard and control but Seca gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Pancano wants to stand up but Seca is controlling him.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pancano looks to land a strike but Seca avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Pancano throws a strike but Seca rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Pancano throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Pancano wants to sweep here but Seca controlling him for the moment. Pancano is working an open guard so Seca takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Seca fails with the takedown and Pancano counters with a single leg into guard. Seca didn't expect that. Pancano throws a strike but Seca rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Seca stands up from Pancano's guard - Seca perhaps looking for a knockout. Pancano fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Seca sprawls well initially but Pancano persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pancano wants to pass the guard but Seca is defending well. Tripa Seca has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pancano is looking to take a break and control but Seca is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pancano seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Seca is staying active underneath Pancano, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
