Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert Thompson (ranked 2870 p4p, 259 weight class) and Lynch Boshank (ranked 3881 p4p, 332 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Thompson misses the target.
A shot to the liver by Thompson. Beautiful body shot.
Thompson connects with a looping right hand.
Thompson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Boshank.
Thompson tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Thompson throws a lazy uppercut
and Boshank counters with a left to the body.
Thompson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Boshank looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Thompson misses with a body shot.
Boshank ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Thompson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Thompson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Boshank makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Boshank uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thompson.
Thompson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Boshank's head.

It looks like Lynch Boshank has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boshank misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boshank lands with a good body shot.
No joy there for Thompson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Boshank steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thompson.
Boshank throws a leg kick but Thompson moved away.
Albert Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
and Boshank counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Thompson! He's just covering up as Boshank starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Lynch Boshank decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
