Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lang has chosen Cemetary Gates as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dave Lang has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Cack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dave Lang! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cack gets caught flat footed, as Lang shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Cack looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Lang stopping the sweep attempt from Cack. Lang thows a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lang gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Lang moves into the clinch. Lang pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lang is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cack gets caught flat footed, as Lang shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lang thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lang missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lang must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cack keeping moving, preventing Lang from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lang loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lang in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Lang advances position into side control! Lang is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cack is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Cack could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lang stands up. Lang clinches up with Cack and pushes him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lang scores a nice knee to the body.
Lang lands a takedown into guard.
Lang stopping the sweep attempt from Cack. Cack looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Lang passes into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Cack is looking to improve his position.
Lang is trying to control the action in half guard but Cack is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lang looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Cack is refusing to be controlled, as Lang sits in half guard. Cack looking for submissions off his back. Lang is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lang thows a huge punch but Cack dodges it nicely.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A left and a right from Lang both land. Nice combination. Nice takedown defense from Cack. No joy for Lang on that attempt. Lang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cack tries to avoid it but Lang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cack to the ground. Cack escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Cack tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lang clinches up with Cack and pushes him back against the cage. Cack fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Cack wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lang has him pressed against the cage. Lang scores a nice knee to the body.
Lang prevents a takedown attempt there.
Cack tries to pull guard but Lang won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Lang dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lang cracks the inside of Cack's front leg. Lang has taken the fight to the clinch.

Cack preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Cack might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Cack working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lang throwing strikes from guard but Cack blocks nicely. Cack keeping moving, preventing Lang from controlling successfully. Lang not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lang is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lang slips a nice elbow through Cack's hands, connecting with Cack's forehead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cack wants to improve his position but Lang is controlling well.
Lang throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lang not landing any meaningful shots this time. Cack is defending against the submission attempts here by Lang.
Cack tries to get to full guard but Lang has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lang throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lang lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lang shoots in for a double leg but Cack sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lang clinches. Lang breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lang tries to clinch but Cack is having none of it. Cack stuffs the takedown. Cack thows a left - swing and a miss! Cack blocks a head kick by Lang.
Cack is looking to land body kicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nice takedown defense from Cack. No joy for Lang on that attempt. Daniel Cack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Lang. Lang tries to bum rush Cack with a series of wild strikes but Cack uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cack shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lang as he jumps to the side. Lang feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Lang wants to control from the top but Cack keeps moving. Lang in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Cack is looking for a triangle but Lang pushes his legs off easily.
Lang avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cack is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Lang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Lang throws a head kick that Cack semi-blocks.
Cack throws a solid leg kick but Lang takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cack. Lang fails with the takedown. Lang fails to land with a series of punches.
Lang fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cack sprawls well initially but Lang persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Cack tries to get to full guard but Lang has control of the leg. Cack tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Lang has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Lang throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lang punching from mount but Cack doing a good job of avoiding damage. Cack flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Lang thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Cack avoids a series of strikes thrown by Lang.
Lang throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Lang cracks Cack with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Cack is trying to escape the mount.
Dave Lang is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cack is working hard here to advance position. Lang looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lang trying to control but Cack is having none of it. Lang controlling the pace for now. Lang tries to control but Cack wriggling away. Daniel Cack has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cack keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Dave Lang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
