Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Buster McDiggle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julian Bashir!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. McDiggle darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Julian Bashir has been cut.
Bashir looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A punch lands to the side of Bashir 's head but he takes it in his stride.
McDiggle lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bashir's sensitive parts.
Bashir takes a body punch but keeps moving.
We've been informed that Bashir has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
McDiggle chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bashir jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bashir misses with a body shot
and McDiggle counters with a slapping leg kick.
A head kick by McDiggle - that's a beauty! Bashir is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even McDiggle can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Buster McDiggle!
