Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Don Sheidu (ranked 1142 p4p, 72 weight class) and Claus Haba (ranked 2502 p4p, 145 weight class). Don Sheidu has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haba throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sheidu was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Haba throws a leg kick that misses.
Sheidu attempts a counter takedown but Haba avoids it well and moves away.
Claus Haba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Haba closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sheidu's guard.

Haba has gone for a leg lock! Sheidu slips out almost immediately though and dives into Haba's guard.

Sheidu has control of Haba's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Haba regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Sheidu goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Haba has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sheidu but great work by Haba.

Haba feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Some bone on bone action there as Sheidu checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Well Haba has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
