Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugues Dupont (ranked 566 p4p, 72 weight class) and Bleeding Spanner (ranked 160 p4p, 24 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Hugues Dupont! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bleeding Spanner! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dupont misses with a left hand and Dupont takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dupont connects with a good right hand that stumbles Spanner. Spanner circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Spanner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dupont.
Spanner feints a counter leg kick. The fighters circle momentarily. Spanner darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Dupont throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A little jabbing left from Spanner on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Spanner goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Dupont misses the shot to the body. Spanner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dupont. Spanner takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dupont throws a lazy uppercut
and Spanner finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. A telegraphed right hand from Dupont misses the target. Dupont throws a jab but it's blocked by Spanner. Nice cross by Dupont.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dupont lands a nice hook to Spanner's body. Spanner takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Dupont uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Spanner. Dupont throws a lazy right hand but Spanner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Spanner moves out of range as Dupont strikes. Dupont misses with a left hand and Spanner counters with a low kick, right behind Dupont 's knee. Dupont looks to land a left hand but Spanner moved out of range nicely. Spanner is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Spanner has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Dupont cracks Spanner with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Bleeding Spanner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Spanner ducks under a wild hook from Dupont. Spanner tries a quick counter leg kick but Dupont is wise to it. Dupont swings for the body but Spanner moves out of range.
Dupont misses with an uppercut
and Spanner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Dupont tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Spanner was well out of range. Poor timing from Dupont. Spanner tries a quick counter leg kick but Dupont is wise to it. Dupont swings and misses with a shot to the body and Spanner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dupont swings widly with a right hand
and Spanner counters with a big left hand that crumples Dupont! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bleeding Spanner! Bleeding Spanner retains his heavyweight title! Our winner, Bleeding Spanner, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
