Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Walter Wiener (ranked 4960 p4p, 237 weight class) and Ben Sheeran (ranked 5271 p4p, 240 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sheeran.
Wiener is looking for a counter combo.
Wiener throws a body punch but Sheeran moves out of range.

Sheeran dives in and grabs Wiener's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wiener pushes down on Sheeran's head and hops out.

Sheeran decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wiener is looking to get back to is feet but Sheeran passes into side control.
Wiener tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Wiener throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Sheeran throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wiener's waist but Wiener gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sheeran off to one side.
It appears Wiener was looking to counter with a kick there.

Sheeran swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sheeran looks to score with a jab to the body but Wiener is just out of range.
Wiener throws a quick counter kick to the body but Sheeran avoids it.
Sheeran stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wiener.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sheeran crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wiener - the referee stops the clock and Sheeran gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wiener. Sheeran manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wiener, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
