Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Nolan (ranked 2313 p4p, 226 weight class) and Eriks Podkalns (ranked 6470 p4p, 447 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Nolan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eriks Podkalns!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nolan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Podkalns - the referee stops the clock and Nolan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Podkalns. Nolan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Nolan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Podkalns.
Podkalns should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Nolan drops Podkalns with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Podkalns looks back up at him and smiles so Nolan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Eriks Podkalns has been cut.
Podkalns moves to clinch but Nolan breaks away
and Nolan counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jon Nolan!
