Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ken Irrawaddy (ranked 2328 p4p, 255 weight class) and Scar Ambe (ranked 637 p4p, 80 weight class). Irrawaddy comes to the cage accompanied by Laos Rules!. Ambe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Gunna - The World is Yours kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Irrawaddy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scar Ambe! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ambe takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ambe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Irrawaddy. Ambe tries to counter with a clinch but Irrawaddy shakes him off and moves away. Irrawaddy misses the shot to the body. Irrawaddy misses with a wild body shot. Ambe jabs at Irrawaddy's body. Irrawaddy misses with a body shot.
Ambe throws an overhand right that lands on Irrawaddy's shoulder, as Irrawaddy tries to avoid the shot. Ambe slips under a jab. Irrawaddy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ambe sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ambe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Irrawaddy sprawls well initially but Ambe persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Irrawaddy is trying to maintain the position but Ambe is very close to passing his half guard. Irrawaddy on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Irrawaddy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ambe is figuring out what he wants to do next. Irrawaddy tries to roll over but Ambe keeps him under control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ambe working over Irrawaddy with some ground and pound. Irrawaddy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ambe looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Irrawaddy is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Marty Robbin's Fight Ranch™, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Irrawaddy is refusing to be controlled, as Ambe sits in half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ambe connects with a nice short shot to Irrawaddy's temple. Ambe controlling the action here. Ambe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Irrawaddy keeps working. Ambe thows a huge punch but Irrawaddy dodges it nicely.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Irrawaddy is staying active underneath Ambe, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ambe is controlling the pace.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ambe lands a nice short elbow. Ambe has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at ELITE Island Gym - 19 Elite Coaches. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The fighters are battling for position here. Irrawaddy manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Ambe with a flurry of punches that miss. Irrawaddy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ambe manages to get himself to full guard.
Irrawaddy won't allow Ambe to sweep him here. Ambe lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Irrawaddy is looking to sweep but instead, Ambe has passed into half guard.
Ambe winds up and cracks Irrawaddy with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Ambe there. Ambe seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ambe wants to pass to mount but Irrawaddy is defending the position. Irrawaddy has a hand on Ambe's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Ambe takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Ambe lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ambe cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ambe wants to control the pace but Irrawaddy is squirming around nicely. Irrawaddy regains half guard. Irrawaddy gets full guard. Ambe postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ambe chips away with some ground and pound. Ambe throwing strikes from guard but Irrawaddy blocks nicely. Ambe scoring with punches to the head and body. Ambe stopping the sweep attempt from Irrawaddy. Irrawaddy trying to control the position.
Ambe controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ambe is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Scar Ambe dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ambe changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Ambe scores with a punch to the head. The fight moves into the clinch position. Ambe has Irrawaddy pressed against the cage.

Ambe misses with a hook from the clinch. Irrawaddy goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Irrawaddy lands on the inside with an uppercut. Irrawaddy can't find room to land a body shot as Ambe controls the action.
Irrawaddy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ambe has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Irrawaddy misses with a looping right. It seemed like Ambe was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ambe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Irrawaddy paws at him with a jab and circles away. A left and a right from Ambe both land. Nice combination. Irrawaddy misses with an uppercut. Ambe saw that one coming. Ambe tries to close the distance and clinch but Irrawaddy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ambe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Irrawaddy slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ambe is fighting to break Irrawaddy's control of his arms but Irrawaddy is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Ambe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Irrawaddy looking to control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Ambe clinches up with Irrawaddy and pushes him back against the cage. Ambe throws a punch but it's blocked by Irrawaddy. Ambe holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Nice shot by Irrawaddy. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ambe throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Irrawaddy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ambe is in Irrawaddy's guard. Irrawaddy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ambe's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Irrawaddy's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Irrawaddy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ambe wants to sweep here but Irrawaddy controlling him for the moment. Scar Ambe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

A slow jab from Ambe misses its intended target. Ambe closes the distance but Irrawaddy moves to the side and Irrawaddy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ambe throws a big shot that misses. Ambe bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Irrawaddy's head. Irrawaddy misses with a straight right. Ambe tries to clinch up but Irrawaddy circles away and keeps his distance. Irrawaddy is looking for a counter combo. Ambe throws a looping overhand right but Irrawaddy ducks down to avoid it. Ambe gets a clinch. Irrawaddy tries to work over Ambe's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scar Ambe seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Ambe lands a left hand that snaps the head of Irrawaddy backwards. Ambe takes a shot to the head.

Irrawaddy stays in close to Ambe's body and controls the position. Scar Ambe has got the better of the ground game so far. Ambe tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ambe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ambe has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Irrawaddy preventing the sweep. Irrawaddy trying to control the position from guard on top but Ambe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ambe controls Irrawaddy momentarily but Irrawaddy frees himself. Irrawaddy scoring with some ground and pound. Ken Irrawaddy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Irrawaddy landing with the ground and pound. Irrawaddy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Irrawaddy cracks Ambe with a solid left hand. Ambe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Irrawaddy's guard. Irrawaddy wants to sweep but no luck. Scar Ambe is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Irrawaddy controls Ambe momentarily but Ambe frees himself. Ambe throws a big elbow that misses. Ambe looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Irrawaddy looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Scar Ambe. I've got Ambe winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
