Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Burrito Supreme! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wrestle Guy! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Supreme avoids it really well and circles away. Guy staying out of range there. Supreme misses with a straight left. Guy drives through with a takedown into Supreme's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Guy has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Island Sparring. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Supreme is trying to control the position but Guy postures up. Supreme preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Guy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Guy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Supreme is looking to sweep but instead, Guy has passed into half guard.
Guy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Supreme on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Supreme wants to get back to full guard. Supreme controlling the position for now. Supreme is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Supreme knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guy on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Supreme blocking the ground and pound attempt from Guy. Guy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Supreme trying to hold on to Guy's head to control him but Guy postures up.

Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Supreme has his hands clasped together around Guy's back. He's all about the action. Guy stalling. Supreme wants to improve his position but Guy is controlling well.

Guy missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Guy controlling the action here. Supreme wants to get back to full guard. Guy performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Supreme is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Guy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Guy's back! Supreme trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Guy needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation. Supreme is not going to allow Guy to sit and survive in this position. Supreme trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Supreme is riding his opponent, not letting Guy buck him off. Supreme definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Supreme not allowing Guy to control his hands. Supreme biding his time, looking for the opening.

Supreme stays in close to Guy's body and controls the position. Supreme trying to control the position from guard on top but Guy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Guy managing to control the position. Guy wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Supreme trying to control but Guy is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Guy is on top in guard.
Guy engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wrestle Guy dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A slow jab from Supreme misses its intended target. Guy darts in looking for a takedown but Supreme gets double underhooks and turns Guy into the cage. Guy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Supreme defends it nicely. Supreme jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Supreme dips to his left and cracks Guy with an uppercut! Supreme misses with a looping right. Guy with the counter takedown but Supreme avoids it easily. Supreme looks to land a left hand but Guy moved out of range nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A cross from Supreme lands.
It looks like Wrestle Guy has been cut. Guy checks a low kick from Supreme. Supreme throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Guy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Supreme won't be happy with that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Supreme tries to bench press Guy off him but Guy keeps the position. Sloppy strikes there by Guy. You can see the frustration on Supreme's face as Guy controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. What's Supreme going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Supreme parries the strikes from Guy easily there. Guy is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Supreme to escape.

Guy perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Guy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Guy perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Guy is thwarting Supreme's attempts to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Guy dives in and scores a takedown into Supreme's guard. Supreme avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Supreme pulls Guy in close to prevent any damage. Supreme looking to hit a scissor sweep but Guy is one step ahead there. Supreme looking to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Guy showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Let's hope that Guy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wrestle Guy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Wrestle Guy's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Supreme throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Guy takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Supreme listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. A jab from Supreme misses. Guy is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Supreme looks to land a left hand but Guy moved out of range nicely. Guy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Supreme throws out the jab. Supreme jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Supreme is trying to get back to half guard. Supreme is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Guy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Guy controlling the action here. Guy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Guy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Supreme is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wrestle Guy has got the better of the ground game so far. Guy is controlling Supreme's trapped leg to prevent Supreme from advancing to side control. Supreme prevents Guy from improving his position. Guy is staying active underneath Supreme, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Guy is trying to get back to full guard. Guy is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Guy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Guy keeping moving, preventing Supreme from controlling successfully.

Supreme has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Supreme trying to control but Guy is working from the bottom. Burrito Supreme has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wrestle Guy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Supreme is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Burrito Supreme. I think Guy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
