The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Marquez tries a head kick but it misses.
Akishev is looking to clinch.
That kick from Akishev tenderised Marquez's leg. Marquez is trying to keep his angry face on.
Akishev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Marquez looks to land a combination but Akishev avoids it well.
Marquez throws a hook to the side of Akishev's head but Akishev sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Marquez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Akishev circles away quickly and effectively.
Marquez throws a nice looking combination but Akishev bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Akishev tries to close the distance and clinch but Marquez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Marquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Akishev lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Akishev is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Marquez like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Marquez from another fist facial!
