The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Eremeev shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Eremeev was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ferguson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Eremeev is looking to take a break and control but Ferguson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ferguson on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Eremeev is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ferguson is trying to escape and Eremeev transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ferguson is forced to tap! Nice work there by Eremeev! Very nice indeed!
