Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Kriger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Skripplenorth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kriger kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tupac - Me Against The World. Skripplenorth has chosen Slayer - Raining Blood as his entrance music. Randy Skripplenorth acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randy Skripplenorth! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kriger tries to clinch up but Skripplenorth circles away and keeps his distance. Kriger misses the shot to the body. Kriger wants to clinch up but Skripplenorth keeps it at a distance. Skripplenorth circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kriger closes this distance looking for a takedown but Skripplenorth circles away. Skripplenorth dodges the punch combination from Kriger.
Kriger looks to land a combination but Skripplenorth avoids it well. Skripplenorth looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Kriger tries to get to full guard but Skripplenorth has control of the leg. Kriger avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Skripplenorth. Kriger manages to get to full guard.

Skripplenorth tries for a kimura but Kriger is defending well. Kriger is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Kriger is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Skripplenorth stalls from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kriger is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Skripplenorth tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kriger's legs. Skripplenorth is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kriger has escaped the position, nice work there. Kriger can't do much from the bottom here. Kriger is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Skripplenorth is controlling him well. Skripplenorth wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kriger, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kriger struggling a bit here. Kriger gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Skripplenorth wants to finish this one by submission but Kriger is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Skripplenorth. Kriger is looking to get to half guard. Kriger shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Skripplenorth counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Skripplenorth seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Skripplenorth passes easily into side control. Nice work. Skripplenorth tries for a kimura but Kriger is defending well. Skripplenorth tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Skripplenorth has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kriger is looking for a sweep.

Skripplenorth is trying to control. Kriger wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Skripplenorth is looking to advance position but Kriger won't allow it. Skripplenorth is breathing heavily. Skripplenorth is working for a kimura but Kriger is defending it quite comfortably.
Skripplenorth is pressing down on Kriger's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kriger is holding on for now.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Skripplenorth gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kriger counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kriger closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Skripplenorth to the mat! Skripplenorth manages to get full guard. Skripplenorth is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Skripplenorth not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kriger has his takedown stuffed and Skripplenorth counters with a nice body shot. Skripplenorth closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Skripplenorth is taking a breather. Kriger says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skripplenorth moves into full mount! Kriger won't be happy about that! Skripplenorth trying to control but Kriger is having none of it. Skripplenorth has hold of Kriger's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kriger manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Skripplenorth is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kriger has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Kriger tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kriger tries to lock up and control but Skripplenorth gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randy Skripplenorth showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Kriger shoots and misses and Skripplenorth decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kriger's guard. Skripplenorth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kriger swivels though and keeps the full guard. Skripplenorth advances position into side control! Kriger can't do much from the bottom here. Skripplenorth is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kriger is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kriger gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! A nice elbow there by Skripplenorth. Randy Skripplenorth has got the better of the ground game so far. Skripplenorth cracks Kriger with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Skripplenorth controlling his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skripplenorth looking for a guillotine from mount but Kriger is having none of it. Kriger can't escape the position.
Kriger gets back to half guard. Skripplenorth prevents Kriger from standing back up.
Skripplenorth wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kriger keeps working. Kriger is trying to stand back up but Skripplenorth is controlling him
Skripplenorth wants to pass to mount but Kriger is defending the position. Skripplenorth seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kriger is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
