Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Goku san (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Goku san!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Drake!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
san keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
san looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Drake looking to control.

san is looking to stand up but Drake won't let him.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
san gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Nice takedown defense from Drake. No joy for san on that attempt.

san decides to stand up, so the ref orders Drake to his feet.
san shoots for a double leg takedown but Drake sprawls well. He's pushed san's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Goku san seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
san wants to stand but Drake has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
san trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Drake has his foot on san's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. san works his way back into a safe position though.
san stands up and waves to Drake to follow him.
Drake shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has san pinned against the cage. san gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Goku san has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Drake.
No luck for Drake with that takedown attempt.
san feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Drake is nestled in close to san, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

san looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Drake is fending him off so far but san persists. Nope, Drake circles away and we're back to standing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Drake has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but san can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

and san counters with a nice double leg into side control. Drake won't be happy with that.
san decides to stand back up. san steps back and let's Drake get back to his feet.

Nice sprawl there from Drake as san shoots in.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Goku san overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
san is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
san is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Drake gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Drake jumps guard and drags san to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
san will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
san throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Drake's waist but Drake gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing san off to one side.

Drake shoots in looking for a takedown. san tries to sprawl out of it but Drake keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. san manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

san changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Drake tries to avoid it but san manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Drake to the ground. Drake escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for san, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
