Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Foster (ranked 5769 p4p, 506 weight class) and Tim McGee (ranked 6013 p4p, 514 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeff Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim McGee!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Foster dives in and scores a takedown into McGee's guard.
Foster looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
McGee wants to stand up but Foster is controlling him.

McGee is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

McGee is looking for a triangle but Foster pushes his legs off easily.
Foster has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

McGee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Foster doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Foster manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGee looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Foster throws a strike but McGee rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


That's one minute gone in the round.
McGee trying to control but Foster is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells McGee's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGee advances to half guard.
McGee seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Foster looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

McGee is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Foster has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Foster blocking the ground and pound attempt from McGee.
McGee not landing any meaningful shots this time.
McGee is trying to control the action in half guard but Foster is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

McGee seems to be looking for submissions.

McGee in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Foster tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from McGee!
