Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pedikov tries to keep at a distance but Bobby has taken the fight into the clinch.
Pedikov wants the takedown. Bobby is fighting it off but Pedikov persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bobby's guard against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bobby is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Pedikov is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at St Petersburg MMA Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee asks Bobby politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bobby prefers to stall for the moment though.
Bobby is looking to take a break and control but Pedikov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Pedikov manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bobby's best efforts.

Bobby takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pedikov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bobby knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
