Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Gaizka Elizondo (ranked 5021 p4p, 431 weight class) and Tom Baker (ranked 4323 p4p, 403 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Elizondo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Peewee Longway & Money Man - Ooowwweee. Baker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Steve Blackman WWE theme. Gaizka Elizondo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elizondo slips a straight right by Baker.
Baker cracks a nice hook into Elizondo's ribs.
A combination from Baker does no damage.
Baker moves in looking to clinch but Elizondo pushes him off.
Baker throws a right hand that Elizondo ducks under and follows up with a left that Elizondo also avoids with ease.

It looks like Tom Baker has been cut.
Elizondo punishes Baker's body with a nice straight punch.
Elizondo misses with a hook to the body
and Baker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Elizondo looks to land a right hand but Baker moved out of range.
Elizondo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Elizondo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Elizondo looks low and kicks high, catching Baker right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

Baker gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Elizondo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Baker has him pressed against the ropes.

Baker has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Baker counters with a left and a right that stings Elizondo.

Elizondo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Baker misses with a two punch combination.
Elizondo lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Baker's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Baker duly obliges.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Elizondo scores with a head kick. Baker tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Elizondo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Baker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Baker scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Elizondo lands a high kick!
Baker catches Elizondo napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Elizondo crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Baker raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tom Baker!
Tom Baker opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
