Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rowan Atkinson (ranked 4832 p4p, 228 weight class) and Chase Buchanan (ranked 5201 p4p, 241 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buchanan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Atkinson swivels and escapes.
Atkinson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Atkinson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Atkinson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Buchanan working for a triangle but Atkinson defends it easily.
Atkinson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Atkinson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Atkinson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Buchanan's guard.
Atkinson is looking to advance position but Buchanan won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Atkinson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Atkinson moves nicely into side control.
Atkinson just content to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Atkinson has an Americana. Buchanan didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Atkinson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Atkinson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
