PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Aingot Nofud (ranked 24418 p4p, 544 weight class) and Beck Lee (ranked 1785 p4p, 206 weight class). Nofud's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Offspring - Kids Aren't Alright. On his way into the ring it seems that Aingot Nofud has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Aingot Nofud seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aingot Nofud!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Beck Lee!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee punishes Nofud's body with a nice straight punch.
Lee closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nofud is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee.
Lee is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
A head kick misses from Nofud.
Nofud avoids the body shot from Lee.
Lee takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Some wild striking there from Nofud.
Lee doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Lee darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nofud fakes the leg kick and cracks Lee in the body.
Nofud swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nofud really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Nofud counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nofud uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lee.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nofud lands with a kick to the temple. Lee shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Nofud clips Lee with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Lee a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

Lee is rocked!
Nofud closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Lee out cold! Lee corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
