0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Buakaw Banchamek! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryokale shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Ryokale lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Ryokale keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Ryokale lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ryokale working Banchamek over with strikes. Ryokale is figuring out what he wants to do next. Ryokale's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Banchamek looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Banchamek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ryokale. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ryokale scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Ryokale controlling the action here. Ryokale looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Ryokale lands with a punch from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Still in half guard, Ryokale seems content to control. Ryokale has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Ryokale has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ryokale content to control rather than advance. Banchamek wants to get back to his feet.
Ryokale looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Banchamek with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ryokale trying to control the pace. Banchamek is defending against the submission attempts here by Ryokale.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ryokale connects with a nice short shot to Banchamek's temple. Ryokale sitting and controlling from the half guard. Ryokale scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Ryokale gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Ryokale moves into the clinch successfully.

We're back to clinching against the cage. Ryokale has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Banchamek is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Ryokale gets a trip takedown into half guard. Ryokale looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Banchamek with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ryokale looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Well, if Ryokale is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
