The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cool circles away quickly and effectively.
Cool wants to counter with a clinch but Rodriguez pushes him away.
Rodriguez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Horrible takedown attempt by Rodriguez or perhaps it was just good defense by Cool, which made it look bad.

Cool closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rodriguez to the mat! Rodriguez manages to get full guard.

Cool content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Rodriguez has locked up a guillotine! Rodriguez 's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Cool is holding on here and Rodriguez must be using up a lot of energy. Cool has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Rodriguez gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
