The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Weisley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anderson somewhat.
Weisley changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Weisley shoots in but Anderson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Weisley is on top in guard.

Anderson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Weisley is trying to defend but Anderson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Anderson feints and then cracks Weisley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Weisley down.
