The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whyte throws a body shot but no joy.
Whyte throws a front kick that sends Gravas stumbling back into the cage.
Whyte thumps Gravas with a low kick.
Whyte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Whyte throws a low kick but Gravas moves out of range easily.
Gravas throws a head kick that misses.
Gravas misses with a wild body shot.
Whyte throws a right hand that misses
and Gravas counters with a nice uppercut.
Gravas takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Whyte connects with a right hand. Gravas shakes it off.

Whyte lands a really nice looking cross but Gravas seems unphased.
Whyte keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gravas .
Gravas swings for the body but Whyte moves out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Gravas as he connects with a hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Whyte throws a head kick that Gravas semi-blocks.
Gravas avoids the body shot from Whyte.
Gravas throws a lazy right hand but Whyte sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gravas takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Benson Whyte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Gravas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Gravas let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Whyte lands a nice looking body shot.
Gravas darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Whyte feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gravas 's calf.

Whyte tries to get into range but Gravas steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Whyte! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Gravas scores the big KO victory!

A very excited looking Latka Gravas made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Benson Whyte was interviewed post fight and said 'Man got tired of all the bullshit decisions and close fights so I went out there to kill or be killed'.
