Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Expendable Crewman V (ranked 622 p4p, 77 weight class) and Robert McKenna (ranked 2367 p4p, 227 weight class). Crewman V comes to the cage accompanied by Star Trek. The crowd seem to be enjoying McKenna's choice of entrance music: Freedom. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Expendable Crewman V! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert McKenna! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKenna shoots in but no luck this time. McKenna looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Crewman V is fending him off so far but McKenna persists. Nope, Crewman V circles away and we're back to standing. McKenna blocks a jab. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Crewman V, as that shot connected.
It looks like Robert McKenna has been cut. McKenna drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. McKenna shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Crewman V as he avoids it easily. Expendable Crewman V has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert McKenna. McKenna shoots in for a takedown but Crewman V shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Crewman V throws a lazy right hand but McKenna sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. McKenna fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Crewman V, pushing him back against the cage. A left hand lands to the body for Crewman V.
McKenna lands with a short punch from the clinch.
McKenna goes for a takedown in the clinch but Crewman V prevents it.
Crewman V lands a nice elbow. McKenna is trying to break the clinch but Crewman V is controlling him. Crewman V tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A quick uppercut on the inside from Crewman V. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McKenna swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Crewman V prevents the takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crewman V lands an elbow inside. Crewman V breaks the clinch.
McKenna closes the distance and clinches up with Crewman V, looking for a takedown. McKenna pushes Crewman V against the cage but Crewman V circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Crewman V was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. McKenna takes a body punch but keeps moving. Crewman V connects with a good right hand that stumbles McKenna. McKenna circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That has opened up Robert McKenna's cut even more. Crewman V clinches. Crewman V working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Crewman V lands on the inside with an uppercut. McKenna breaks the clinch.
Crewman V moves into the clinch. McKenna blocks the elbow strike.
Crewman V throws an elbow but it misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crewman V creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Crewman V can't find room to land a body shot as McKenna controls the action.
Crewman V's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McKenna shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Crewman V connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Robert McKenna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crewman V misses with a wild combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crewman V fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McKenna on the side of the head.
The cut above Robert McKenna's eye is starting to cause him problems now. McKenna tries to clinch up but Crewman V circles away and keeps his distance. McKenna doesn't succeed with the takedown and Crewman V connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Crewman V throws a solid leg kick but McKenna takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Crewman V. McKenna shoots in looking for a takedown but Crewman V manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McKenna's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Good shot there by Crewman V. McKenna fails with a takedown attempt. McKenna misses with a takedown attempt and Crewman V counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Crewman V scores with a three punch combo!
Robert McKenna's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Robert McKenna's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Expendable Crewman V! A relieved looking Expendable Crewman V thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
