Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitri Zaitsev (ranked 797 p4p, 99 weight class) and Mush Mouth (ranked 788 p4p, 96 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mush Mouth was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouth keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Horrible takedown attempt by Mouth or perhaps it was just good defense by Zaitsev, which made it look bad.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mouth is nestled in close to Zaitsev, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Zaitsev is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We've been informed that Mouth has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Dmitri Zaitsev will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mush Mouth seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Mouth jabs Zaitsev right on the nose. Zaitsev blinks but takes it well.
Mouth feints a jab promting Zaitsev to slip. Mouth then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Zaitsev slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Zaitsev dips to his left and cracks Mouth with an uppercut!
A slow jab from Mouth misses its intended target.
Zaitsev tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Mouth manages to circle out of the way.
Zaitsev scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Zaitsev takes a swing at Mouth's ribcage but misses.
Mouth will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zaitsev misses the shot to the body.
Zaitsev throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mouth tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zaitsev is in Mouth's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mouth lands a nice short elbow.
Mush Mouth has got the better of the ground game so far.
Mouth looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Zaitsev with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Mush Mouth showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Mouth throws a combination. Zaitsev tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Mouth comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mush Mouth is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mouth looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Zaitsev bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mouth's head.
Zaitsev throws the kick towards the body but Mouth avoids it.
Zaitsev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mouth throws an overhand right that has Zaitsev reeling! Mouth follows up with more punches and Zaitsev is out cold! This one is all over!
