The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kirov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kirov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Anderson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kirov has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Anderson is looking to regain half guard here but Kirov keeps moving and retains side control.

Anderson tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Kirov presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson is looking to improve his position but Kirov isn't that keen on the idea.

Kirov cracks Anderson with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Anderson from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Kirov is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Oh but Kirov is tightening it up a little... Anderson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Anderson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Anderson taps out! Nice BJJ there by Kirov!
