Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Glynn Lennox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Monroe !
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lennox slips a jab from Monroe .
Lennox throws the left hand but Monroe avoids the punch easily.
Glynn Lennox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lennox throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lennox comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lennox blocks a head kick by Monroe .
Lennox throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Monroe swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Lennox swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lennox circles away from the clinch attempt.
Monroe 's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lennox under the eye.
Lennox thows a left - swing and a miss!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lennox looks to throw the jab but Monroe is out of range.
Lennox throws a hook but Monroe avoids it easily.
Lennox walks into a jab.
Monroe avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Monroe tries to clinch but Lennox is having none of it.
Lennox was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Monroe throws a right and a left that Lennox avoids nicely.
Monroe fails to land with a series of punches.
Lennox misses the shot to the body.
Monroe takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lennox throws a hook but Monroe avoids it easily.
Monroe now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Monroe gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lennox.
Monroe throws out a powerful jab.
Lennox misses with a looping left.
Monroe throws a hook to the side of Lennox's head but Lennox sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lennox swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Lennox keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Monroe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lennox was well out of range. Poor timing from Monroe .
Lennox throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lennox misses the jab.
It seemed like Monroe was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Monroe takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Monroe thumps Lennox with a low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lennox slips a jab and a cross from Monroe .
Monroe closes the distance and clinches.
Monroe is trying to force a seperation but Lennox has the dominant position.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lennox.
Lennox escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lennox missing with a left hand there. Monroe was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lennox cracks a nice hook into Monroe 's ribs.
Monroe throws out a powerful jab.
Monroe scores with the left hand. Lennox knows he should have avoided that one.
Lennox throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Monroe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Monroe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lennox.
Monroe moves into range and clinches up with Lennox.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lennox misses with a punch on the inside.
Monroe tries to break free but Lennox pushes him back against the cage.
Monroe misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lennox.
Lennox manages to break the clinch.
Monroe 's coach down at Touch Of Death Combat Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Monroe 's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Lennox ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Monroe moves away.
Monroe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Lennox loads up on a big right hand but Monroe slips the punch.
Monroe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lennox throws out the jab.
Monroe looks to land a combination. Lennox sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Lennox is rocked!
Lennox catches Monroe with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Oh Lennox is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lennox is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Whack! Monroe lands a heavy head kick that drops Lennox. The ref tackles Monroe to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Lennox was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Joe Monroe !
