Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chase Morgan (ranked 2704 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cung Lee (ranked 3555 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen Warrior's Theme as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chase Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cung Lee! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Morgan showed some decent athleticism there. Morgan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Morgan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ground and pound from Morgan. Lee is trying to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morgan is thwarting Lee's attempts to control the position. Lee avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Morgan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Morgan scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Lee is looking for a sweep. Morgan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lee slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Lee looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lee has control of Morgan's left arm, preventing Morgan from doing any damage. Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Morgan is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control. Morgan with a nice head shot there. Morgan trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morgan lands a couple of elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control. Morgan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Morgan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Morgan wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Morgan with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Morgan with a flurry of punches that miss. Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Morgan lands a couple of decent looking shots. Lee working a defensive guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan throwing strikes but missing. Morgan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Morgan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Morgan is one step ahead there. Morgan stays in close to Lee's body and controls the position. Lee keeping moving, preventing Morgan from controlling successfully. Morgan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lee!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morgan is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lee's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Morgan is trying to stand.
Lee is taking a breather. Morgan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Morgan is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chase Morgan dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morgan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Morgan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Morgan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lee looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Morgan is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control. Morgan with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan postures up in Lee's guard and throws a big left but Lee blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morgan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Morgan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lee's head. Morgan stopping the sweep attempt from Lee. Morgan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Morgan distracts Lee with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lee looking for a sweep. Not yet Lee, not yet. Morgan trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. Lee wants to sweep here but Morgan controlling him for the moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. That kick from Lee tenderised Morgan's leg. Morgan is trying to keep his angry face on. Lee just misses with a punch to the body.
Morgan slips a jab from Lee.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Lee goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Morgan lands a nice hook to Lee's body. Lee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Chase Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Excellent takedown into side control there by Morgan. Morgan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Morgan working the body and head with strikes. Lee can't do much from the bottom here. Lee is looking for a sweep. Chase Morgan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morgan controlling the position. Morgan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Lee gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Morgan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Morgan lands with some strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morgan is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Lee is forced to tap! Great finish!

Our winner, Chase Morgan, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
