Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcellus Legionarius (ranked 3464 p4p, 367 weight class) and Nash Andrews (ranked 7162 p4p, 528 weight class). Nash Andrews will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nash Andrews! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Legionarius throws a wild body kick that Andrews sees coming a mile off. Legionarius throws a quick inside leg kick. Andrews on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Legionarius. Legionarius obviously looking to wear him down.
Legionarius throws a leg kick which misses Andrews's front leg but catches the back leg as Andrews tries to avoid it. Legionarius throws a sloppy head kick and Andrews moves out of range easily. Legionarius with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Legionarius throws a head kick that misses. Andrews raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Legionarius misses with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. A decent looking body kick lands there for Legionarius. Legionarius looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Legionarius stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Legionarius wants it to stay on the feet. Andrews tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Legionarius swivels and escapes. Legionarius misses with a head kick.
Andrews drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Legionarius defends it well. Andrews blocks a head kick by Legionarius.

Andrews tries to score a power double leg takedown but Legionarius sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Andrews somewhat. Marcellus Legionarius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nash Andrews.

Legionarius manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Andrews changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Marcellus Legionarius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Andrews takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Legionarius connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Legionarius keeps Andrews at a distance using the push kick. Legionarius tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Legionarius plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Andrews shoots in looking for a takedown but Legionarius manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Andrews's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Legionarius lands a big head kick that sends Andrews to the canvas! Legionarius follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
