Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dido Vicini (ranked 2161 p4p, 260 weight class) and Huggle Muffin Sweetie Pie (ranked 3632 p4p, 0 weight class). Vicini comes to the cage accompanied by Mother. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweetie Pie dips to his left and cracks Vicini with an uppercut!
Sweetie Pie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vicini is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sweetie Pie gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Vicini misses with a punch to the body.

Vicini has Sweetie Pie pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sweetie Pie manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Vicini closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sweetie Pie to the mat! Sweetie Pie manages to get full guard.

Vicini is keen to just control but Sweetie Pie is a slippery customer.

Sweetie Pie tries to roll over but Vicini keeps him under control.
Sweetie Pie is refusing to be controlled, as Vicini sits in half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Vicini stalling away here and it's allowed Sweetie Pie to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Dido Vicini will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Sweetie Pie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Vicini looking to score a takedown here. Sweetie Pie is defending well but Vicini drives through and ends up in Sweetie Pie's guard.
Vicini won't allow Sweetie Pie to get back to his feet.
Sweetie Pie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vicini's guard.

Sweetie Pie is sitting in close to Vicini's body. Vicini has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sweetie Pie is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sweetie Pie is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Vicini.
