Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stevee Cee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Nicholas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stevee Cee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Nicholas! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Cee.
Nicholas scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Cee wants to get back to his feet but Nicholas is dominant here and he's now got Cee's back! Nicholas controls the action. Nicholas controlling well, preventing Cee from escaping the position.
Cee is taking damage to the body and head. Nicholas biding his time, looking for the opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nicholas is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Robert Nicholas just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cee throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nicholas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cee to the mat! Cee manages to get full guard. Cee wants to get back to his feet but Nicholas is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Cee can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nicholas controls the pace. Cee manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nicholas manages to get himself to full guard.

Let's see if Nicholas can do anything to dispel that myth. Cee wants to control from the top but Nicholas keeps moving. Cee is looking to stand up but Nicholas won't let him. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cee misses with a takedown attempt and Nicholas counters with a thumping low kick. Nicholas misses with a few strikes there.

Nicholas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cee sprawls well initially but Nicholas persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Nicholas content to control rather than advance. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Cee is trying to stand back up but Nicholas is controlling him

Nicholas is taking a breather. Cee says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Nicholas wants to pass to mount but Cee is defending the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cee with a lazy takedown attempt and Nicholas counters with a shoot takedown. Cee fights it but they end up in guard. Cee manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Cee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nicholas is looking to escape. Nicholas keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cee takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nicholas tries to hold on but Cee postures up. Cee trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Stevee Cee just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Cee scores with a jab to the head.

Nicholas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Nicholas avoids the attempt from Cee to control. Nicholas prevents Cee from getting the reversal. Cee tries to hold on but Nicholas pushes him away. Cee is looking to improve his position but Nicholas isn't that keen on the idea. Nicholas should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Nicholas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

and Nicholas decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cee's guard. Cee scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Nicholas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Cee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Nicholas wants to free his trapped foot but Cee is holding on for dear life with his legs. Cee is trying to stand up here but Nicholas is controlling him well. Cee is in trouble now - Nicholas has advanced to mount! Cee tries to get back to half guard but can't. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
