Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brett Biliken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tourney Guy!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ron Honeybunn and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biliken throws a chopping leg kick but Guy manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Guy throws a looping overhand right but Biliken ducks down to avoid it.
Guy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Biliken manages to avoid it.
Guy throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Biliken on the side of the head.
A swing and a miss from Guy.
Biliken throws a low kick, looking for Guy's leg but Guy calmly moves out of range.
Guy throws out a counter right but Biliken avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Guy looks to land a left hand but Biliken moved out of range nicely.
Guy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Biliken.
Tourney Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guy throws a hook but Biliken blocks it.
Guy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Biliken attempts a counter takedown but Guy avoids it well and moves away.

so Biliken counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Biliken prevents Guy from getting back to his feet.
Biliken might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Biliken stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Biliken drops back looking for a leg! Guy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Guy manages to kick Biliken off! Biliken jumps back into Guy's guard.

Biliken is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Biliken won't allow Guy to get back to his feet.
Biliken sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Guy's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Guy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Biliken is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Guy is not content to let Biliken control the position.

Biliken seems to be looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brett Biliken dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


A big right from Guy misses.
Biliken shoots in for a takedown but Guy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Biliken misses with a hook. Guy ducked under it nicely.
Guy is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Biliken with a body shot.

Oooooh!!! Guy has knocked Biliken down with a huge combo! Guy steps away and waves a wobbly Biliken back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Biliken is rocked!


It looks like Brett Biliken has been cut.
Biliken throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Guy closes the distance and clinches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Guy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Guy lands with a right to the head.

Biliken could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Guy is working Biliken over against the cage.

Guy pushes Biliken back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Biliken tries for a takedown. No joy.
Guy lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Biliken is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brett Biliken. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Guy lands a nice uppercut.
Guy digs a right hand underneath Biliken's ribcage. Biliken let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Guy lands a shoulder strike.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Oh Biliken is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Guy drops Biliken onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Biliken is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Guy scores with a nice hook to the head.
Biliken's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A short right hand to the side of the head by Guy.
Biliken has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Guy avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Guy lands with a left to the head.
Guy throws a big uppercut that drops Biliken! More strikes from Guy and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Biliken lies dazed against the cage as Guy celebrates with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tourney Guy!
