Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Torcadall Sailcirc! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Count Von Reichammer! The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sailcirc slips under a jab. Sailcirc moves out of range of the strikes. Sailcirc takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Von Reichammer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Sailcirc taking a bit of punishment here - Von Reichammer scoring with strikes. Von Reichammer tries for a kimura but Sailcirc is defending well. Sailcirc sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Sailcirc actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sailcirc is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Von Reichammer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sailcirc! Sailcirc working to try and regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Von Reichammer working for a submission but Sailcirc is keeping him at bay. Sailcirc really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Sailcirc is working hard here to advance position. Von Reichammer trying to control but he's not successful this time. Sailcirc wants to control but Von Reichammer is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sailcirc is squirming around, avoiding Von Reichammer's attempts to control the action. Sailcirc is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Von Reichammer dominating with strikes here. Von Reichammer unloading with bombs! Sailcirc bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Von Reichammer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sailcirc can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sailcirc passes into half guard. Sailcirc is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Von Reichammer sees it coming and defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Von Reichammer is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Sailcirc has latched onto it... Big trouble! Sailcirc pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Von Reichammer is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Sailcirc!
