Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Andrew Frame (ranked 1839 p4p, 44 weight class) and Vincent McGuire (ranked 20756 p4p, 148 weight class). Vincent McGuire will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vincent McGuire!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Frame.
McGuire swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Frame throws a big shot that misses.
Frame misses with a straight right.
McGuire swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Frame ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McGuire moves away.
Frame has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Panda Sprawl n Brawl in the buildup to the fight.
McGuire throws a hook but Frame avoids it easily.
Frame is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
McGuire throws a lazy uppercut
and Frame counters with a straight right hand.
Frame slips under a jab.
McGuire uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Frame.
McGuire looks to land a right hand but Frame moved out of range.
Frame throwing a counter right hand but McGuire manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frame scores with a hook to the body. McGuire takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
McGuire misses the shot to the body.
McGuire lands with a kick to the temple. Frame shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Frame throws a series of strikes that have McGuire backpedaling.
Nice uppercut there from McGuire.
McGuire swings widly with a right hand
and Frame counters with a stiff right hand.
McGuire moves out of range of the body kick.
Frame's corner calls for a 1-2. Frame obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Frame throws a lazy right hand but McGuire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Frame lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McGuire circles away quickly and effectively.
Frame misses with a hook.
Frame misses with a wild body shot.
McGuire wants to clinch up but Frame keeps it at a distance.
McGuire slips under a jab from Frame.
The crowd cheers as McGuire lands an impressive looking overhand right. Frame doesn't seem phased though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Frame misses the shot to the body.

McGuire takes the fight into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Frame's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Frame wants to break free but McGuire has control.

Frame manages to break the clinch.
Andrew Frame seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frame throws a right and a left that McGuire avoids nicely.
McGuire tries to counter by closing the distance.
McGuire throws a shot from downtown. Frame moves away and avoids it.
Frame fires out a quick counter leg kick but McGuire just manages to avoid it.
Nice defenses there by Frame.
McGuire feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Frames jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Frame throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Frame ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Frame appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Frame gets tackled into the ropes by McGuire. McGuire maintains the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Andrew Frame will probably get the nod.
That's time! Frame's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Frame scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
McGuire might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Frame throws a right and a left that both miss.
Andrew Frame is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Frame on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
McGuire scores with a punch to the head.
Frame misses with a hook. McGuire ducked under it nicely.
Frame misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
It seemed like McGuire was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

McGuire swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McGuire looks to land a right hand but Frame moved out of range.
Frame avoids the head kick by McGuire.
McGuire swings for the body but Frame moves out of range.
Frame moves away from the strike by McGuire.
Frame looks to land a body kick but McGuire moved away.
McGuire gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Frame.
McGuire scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.


Frame is rocked!
McGuire is stalking his opponent - BOOM! Switch kick out of nowhere! Frame is not moving; he is out cold!! Wow, what a quick finish that was.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Vincent McGuire!
Vincent McGuire decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
