Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ittai Amram (ranked 4985 p4p, 100 weight class) and Mohamed Brendan (ranked 4986 p4p, 103 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ittai Amram!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mohamed Brendan!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amram tries for a takedown but Brendan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Brendan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Amram tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Brendan is in Amram's guard.
Brendan passes into half guard.
Brendan is trying to control. Amram wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Brendan prevents Amram from improving his position.
Brendan controlling the action here.
Brendan tries to stand and escape but Amram is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brendan stops Amram from getting back to his feet.

Brendan scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Brendan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Amram knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Amram is not content to let Brendan control the position.
Amram wants to get back to his feet.
Brendan tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Amram.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Amram misses with some strikes from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Brendan drives through with a takedown into guard.
Brendan trying to control but Amram is working from the bottom.

Amram is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Brendan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Amram's guard.

Brendan wants to stand up but Amram is controlling the position.
Amram has hold of Brendan's hands but Brendan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Amram wants to control but Brendan is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Brendan wants to take a breather but Amram is having none of it.

Brendan is looking for a kimura here.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Brendan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Amram has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brendan is working away from the top position though.
Brendan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Amram keeps working.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Brendan throws a push kick but Amram slaps the foot to one side.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Amram.
No luck for Amram with that takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mohamed Brendan dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Brendan moves into the clinch.
Brendan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Amram prevents a takedown attempt there.
Amram goes for a takedown attempt but Brendan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Amram shoots in for a double leg but Brendan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Brendan clinches up against the ropes.
Brendan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Amram pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Brendan jumps into guard, dragging Amram to the mat.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brendan trying to keep a closed guard but Amram is proving a slippery customer.
Amram trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Amram won't allow Brendan to sweep him here.
Brendan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Amram's guard.

Brendan passes Amram's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Brendan prevents Amram from improving his position.
Brendan works his way into side control.
Brendan moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Amram is not content to let Brendan control the position.
Amram seems a little lost for a moment, as Brendan dominates the positioning.

Amram is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Brendan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Amram keeps working.
Amram tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Brendan easily slips into full mount!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Brendan with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Brendan fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Amram takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Brendan wants to control the pace but Amram is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mohamed Brendan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Amram throws a right and a left that Brendan avoids nicely.

Amram has a closed guard, preventing Brendan from standing up.
Mohamed Brendan has got the better of the ground game so far.
Brendan wants to control from the top but Amram keeps moving.

Amram looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Amram throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Amram wants to stand but Brendan is controlling the position.

Brendan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Amram working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brendan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brendan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Brendan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Amram wants to try and get back to his feet.
Brendan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Brendan scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Mohamed Brendan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Brendan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
