Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sudarshan Yaakov (ranked 4982 p4p, 105 weight class) and Peter Oneil (ranked 3022 p4p, 68 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sudarshan Yaakov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Oneil! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oneil tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yaakov swats him away and circles back towards the center. Oneil has Yaakov up against the ropes in a clinch.
Oneil tries to work over Yaakov's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Oneil is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Yaakov to keep the fight standing. Yaakov has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Oneil regains guard immediately. Yaakov controls from within his opponent's guard. Yaakov cracks Oneil with a solid left hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oneil preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Yaakov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yaakov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Yaakov stands up from guard. Let's bang! Oneil shoots in for a takedown but Yaakov shows good takedown defense. Yaakov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Oneil looks winded! Yaakov advances to mount. Yaakov controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oneil is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Yaakov jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Oneil manages to avoid the submission attempt. An elbow from Yaakov crashes against the mat.
Oneil is letting Yaakov control him for a moment. Oneil is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yaakov throwing shots but missing, from side control. Yaakov throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. An elbow from Yaakov crashes against the mat.
Yaakov stands up and beckons Oneil to his feet. Yaakov instigates a clinch. Yaakov has Oneil pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Yaakov pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Oneil tumbling to the mat - Yaakov dives into Oneil's guard. Yaakov's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yaakov is looking to work some ground and pound but Oneil has wrist control. Yaakov drops back looking for a leg! Oneil is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Oneil manages to kick Yaakov off! Yaakov jumps back into Oneil's guard. Yaakov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Yaakov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sudarshan Yaakov dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Yaakov tries a low kick but Oneil avoids it. Oneil shoots in for a takedown but Yaakov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Oneil rushes Yaakov and presses him up against the ropes. Yaakov manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Oneil must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Oneil prevents Yaakov from getting back to his feet. Yaakov trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Yaakov pulls Oneil in close to prevent any damage. Yaakov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yaakov tries to get out of the position. Oneil is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yaakov wants to sweep here but Oneil controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yaakov is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Yaakov has his feet on Oneil's thighs here. He's pushed Oneil off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Oneil screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
